You can admire the splendid view from the terrace, because you are facing Bordeaux’s typical facades, fulfilled with sculptures and mascarons.
It’s about time to get to the majestic « Grand Théâtre de Bordeaux », also named « Opéra », which is on the « Place de la Comédie ». Built in the 18th century by the architect Victor Louis, it is one of the masterpieces of the Bordeaux’s architecture. To get there, nothing is more simple, you have to reach the « Saint-Rémi » street (bustling with restaurants) and at the top of it you have to turn on your right on the « Piliers de Tutelle » street . At the end of this one, you will see the Opera (walking time : about 6 minutes).
Here you are, on the « Place de la Comédie ». In front of you, you can see the « Grand Théâtre » and behind you there is the « Grand Hôtel » of Bordeaux. In the extension of this square you have the « Allées de Tourny » which houses a Christmas market every year. For your viewing pleasure and the appeal of gluttony, we advise you to visit the « Larnicol » shop , which is at the corner of the « Cours de l’Intendance » and next to the restaurant « Côté cuisine ».
